MY BEAUTIFUL HOME
REVIVING THE NDEBELE TRADITIONAL CULTURE OF
A Sustainable Rural Community Support Project
The My Beautiful Home competition would not be possible without the generous donation of time and effort of a variety of people. Notable is the year round effort of Veronique Attalla who works tirelessly to organise the event and prize-givings, co-ordinate the visits to the homes to photograph them, raise sponsorship, increase media interest, and much more. She has developed deep ties within the community and is loved and admired by all.
Further the work of the Ward Co-ordinators and support of the Headmen and Village Heads is essential to the organisation of the project on the ground.
Each year we are blessed with Volunteers (although more are always welcome) who assist with a plethora of tasks, including visiting and photographing the homes, collating collages of each home, organising prize-givings and the festivities, etc.
